Hydriastele wendlandiana, commonly known as Wendland’s palm, cat o’ nine tails, creek palm or kentia palm, is a tall, multi-stemmed tree in the palm family Arecaceae. It is native to New Guinea and the Australian states of Queensland and the Northern Territory. Fruits of Wendland’s plam are eaten by fruit doves, metallic starlings and cassowaries
نخل هایدریاستل وندلندیانا یا نخل وندلند گونه ای نخل کمیاب بومی کویینزلند استرالیا است
میوه های این نخل توسط پرندگان خورده میشود. ولی برای انسان خوش طعم نیست
این نخل استوایی هست و جایی گرم و مرطوب برای رشد لازم دارد
