Zingiber gramineum (grassy ginger, palm ginger, tennis ball ginger) is a ginger with tropical palm-like foliage and a large, tennis ball size, fuzzy inflorescence are produced on tall, 2 to 3 foot tall shafts late summer through early fall. Flowers bracts make an impressive addition to any cut flower arrangement and are widely used throughout the floral industry. The brilliant green prolific foliage grows to heights of 6 feet in medium sun and rich moist soil
