Leea macrophylla, Large-leaved Leea (Hathikana) is a very beautiful, upright, herbaceous shrub or small tree with spectacular, very large leaves to 60 cm across and a thick, fleshy rootstock. Native to India, Nepal, southwestern China and Southeast Asia, it is occasionally planted as an ornamental. The leaves are edible as a vegetable but of limited palatability. Leea macrophylla has also been investigated for anti-cancer properties and is used in traditional medicine
هاتیکانا (لیا برگ بزرگ) گونه ای گیاه از خانواده انگوریان بومی هند و اطراف آن است.
این گیاه به صورت درختچه ای رشد میکند و میوه های خوراکی انگور شکل دارد همچنین برگهای آن به عنوان سبزیجات خورده میشود
همچنین این گیاه خواص درمانی زیادی در طب سنتی هند (آیورودا) Ayurveda دارد.
این گیاه با برگهای بسیار بزرگ به عنوان گیاهی تزیینی گلدانی نیز کاشته میشود
