Passiflora bogotensis is a small, climbing passion vine with bilobed leaves and small, white flowers followed by tiny, black fruits. All parts of the plant are covered with very fine, soft hairs. Passiflora bogotensis is native to cloud forests in Colombia and Venezuela between 2000 and 3500 m. In cultivation it does best in cool, oceanic or tropical high mountain climates without extremes of heat or cold
